The county cable channel 17 has the county commissioner meetings, a news show, and various public info segments.

This is in relation to the court ordered Annexation Agreement whereby the county, Reno and Sparks have to come up with a common growth plan.

I had to put this together to make sense out of the alphabet soup of all the regional planning plans and agencies so I could see how all this planning stuff works. Hope it helps you too.

Every stage has public meetings and opportunities for public comment.

Basically, Washoe County, Reno and Sparks have to come to a common agreement (which they did in January 2006), have public hearings (February, 2006) and then present it to the TRMPA for more public hearings and approval or disapproval.
