The latest storm is moving in with its usual bluster and fury and this morning the power couldn’t decide whether to stay on or off on the east side. Finally it decided to stay off for about and hour and now, at 10am is back on. The wind has slacked off a little as the clouds and rain have moved in. It was fun while it lasted.
Friday night accumulations were about an inch on the valley floor from an early storm that brought a feeleing of winter that seemed to leapfrog fall. Cottonwood and aspen trees are still mostly green under a dusting of white. The cold (27 degrees Sat. nite) nights will surely bring the fall colors on in the next few days.
