This is a community website for and by the residents of Washoe Valley, Nevada. It’s intent is to give the residents of the valley a central source of information on issues concerning the valley and its residents.
The site is a non-commercial, not-for-profit, volunteer run site with no political, religious or commerical agenda.
Publishing began in December, 2005 and in September, 2008 washoevalley.org migrated to a web 2.0 publishing platform to continue serving the residents of Washoe Valley, Nevada.
washoevalley.org encourages the participation of all residents in the site by way of comments, articles, grpahics, photos, valley business news, announcements, events, suggestions and questions. email the editor
